Day 22 Moissac to Auvillar

Day 22 Moissac to Auvillar the 25th of april 26 km.  It was supposed to be a easy 21 km but as we took a wrong turn it ended up with 26km. Grey day in the morning but Fine afterwards.

A easy walk along the canal, it was supposed to be, but we lost our way. We were 3 pilgrims talking and not looking where we were going.. and it all went wrong.

We booked a pilgrim house in the morning, not noticing that the name was " the catholic welcome, Saint Jacques" nothing wrong with the place really but all the angels and tje religious pictures were a bit much. Our host was really trying her best but it was not really what we are used to. And we were alone there.

The pilgrim welcome at the church was very nice after the mass and a new blessing.. yes, I know it is becoming an habit.. the singing pilgrims were there again. It was their last day.

 We were invited for a apertif after the church.. we were about 10 people and 3 bottles of the local wine later, we were all quite happy...
