DAY 28 SANTILLANA DEL MAR /COMILLAS
24 km blue sky. Not as warm around 20 degrees. 5 hours to get there.
Very nice section of the Camino. We met some of our French friends on the way and walked with them the way to COMILLAS. Small cute villages and a few stops later we arrived to a memorable restaurant. It must have been the absolute worse restaurant in Spain! And the competition is hard.😲
For our new French friends, the Camino is finished for this time. It is hard to say good bye for one of them, Philippe is his name. He is 69 years old and walk the Camino del Norte for the 8th time. One of the guys is left, Christian from Germany. We'll do one of the hard section tomorrow together.
